Command block "#####" replacement

When putting in certain commands like, "tp @a [r=6] -241 11 -28" or even "/fill -152 11 -30 -152 12 -31 barrier" the command block just replaces it with "########" and obviously the command does not work when powered. Typing in the exact same command in the chat, it works just fine.
