I cannot open Minecraft Windows 10 edition 0.13.0. The Game just show me the Mojang logo screen and then quit on its own. All it show is the picture below.
My computer is Acer 5750G with the following specs:
Core i7 2630QM
Nvidia GT 540M
8GB RAM
The operating system language is Chinese(Simplified), wondering if that will cause any trouble or not. And it is on the newest Windows 10 version (TH2 or 10586)
PS: A lot of people are commenting in the Chinese Windows Store saying that they cannot open the game as well. I will put a screenshot with translation of some recent comments below.

Since Windows store auto-updated Minecraft, I can't launch it anymore (same as Dan, the app get killed after the white screen)
I tried to install the latest version (kinda stupid since MCPE is not running on java...)
I tried to update my NVIDIA Driver to the latest (359) and still the same problem

Unfortunatly, my account name has no special characters (Tibo) so I can't resolve it.
I tried to change the name of the C:/users/Username folder but it still crashes.

thibault rouanet, Even though my system is Chinese, my username is English, and I can run 0.12.x (even though I cannot delete any world, that bug has been reported in MCPE-10885, but not confirmed), so I don't think it is that problem.

I have the same Nvidia GT 540M chip in my laptop and the game always crashes. It doesn't seem to be caused by your language, since I am czech and I have the same problem.

Run the Windows Update troubleshooter and restart the PC. If the game is still crashing/not working, backup your saved games, uninstall, press Windows key + r, type wsreset.exe in the Run box, then reinstall (because wsreset will automatically open Windows store).

after running the troubleshooter, i got this message :
"the service recording was missing or damaged" => Corrected
So i rebooted the laptop, and launched Minecraft => crash
So i uninstalled minecraft, launched wsreset.exe, and installed again.
I launched the game and it crashed again
Then I rebooted (again, after the install) and when the laptop started, i had no internet connection and minecraft launched !
I clicked on "Play", "Create new world", and then Xbox app opened saying "unable to connect" and the minecraft app was on a page saying "log in to play with friends and earn G points "
The Xbox app kept opening as soon as i closed it. So i couldn't play offline. I activated Wi-fi, clicked on "retry" (on the Xbox app, to reconnect)
The app loaded for about 10seconds, then it closed, and minecraft closed too. Since then, I can't launch it again, even in offline mode
I launched the troubleshooter and it found the same problem again. I'll see if i can reproduce everything i said earlier.

@unknown If you have TH2 it is most likely related to that update. It might take some time before this issue is fixed. We are working on it!

It is still occurring for me. Some people are commenting saying that if they disabled the graphics card ( in other word, use the Intel integrated graphics), it will run fine. I tried disabling the NVIDIA graphics and it still didn't launch (maybe I didn't disable it properly). So maybe it could be a dual GPU problem?

I do not think it is a dual GPU problem. I have only 1 GPU that's integrated into the motherboard and I'm still having the same problem. Mojang logo up for a while, then the window goes green with occasional flicker of what looks like the Minecraft menu... hangs and crashes. Video drivers crash and recover.

Its a Lenovo E530. Means its a dual gpu. Internal Intel gpu and Nvidia card both on the mobo of my laptop. Using the Nvidia app to let all apps run on the intel one dint work. DanTDM, look at the date in the "Created" field. MCPE-11679 (this one) has been created 1 day before MCPE-11713 so Owen is right indeed 🙂
