Keyboard and Mouse Support IOS

While playing Minecraft on iOS if you are connected to a Bluetooth keyboard, none of the inputs are accepted. The device I am attempting to use is the smart folio keyboard from apple. I also have a Magic Mouse that will only work as touch input only. The keyboard and mouse works with other games I have used on my pad, except for Minecraft BE.

I took a video of me inside the game verifying the mouse and keyboard option and attempting to move with the wasd buttons and to select different slots. But the video is too long to upload. If needed I can try to provide this another way.
