On Nintendo Switch console I'm not able to connect to Microsoft Account. I found related issue mentioning connection problem after restart. I can't login from the first game start.
Sign in from welcome banner on first start doesn't work
Sign in from button on main menu doesn't work
I tried ms remote connection link on both, mobile and PC devices, doesn't work. Sign in after deleting game data doesn't work.
I bought game to play on my existing Realm so no way to connect Microsoft account defeats purpose of the game. Unfortunately Nintendo doesn't refund.

It's not entirely the same issue. Linked issue refers to connection problems after the restart. I can't connect at all.
Also, I don't want to be mean, but the linked issue was reported 3 years ago. The connected account is the only point to play Minecraft for me, if you haven't solved the game's essential problem for 3 years what chances are that I will be able to play in close future?
