I am a Minecraft Java player but recently I started to play Minecraft in and Android 9 device. But when I tried to play it with controller I had many issues. First is that the "Y" button is doing the functions of "A" button. And "A" button is not responding at all. Then when I tried to play the game I face the same problem as before but now I can't break blocks and place block as "LT" and "RT" buttons are not working. Please lemme play with the Android device for a couple of months. Please fix this ridiculous issue.

As suggested above, please see if you can change your controller behavior by changing controller settings in game settings.
