When joining a friends world I've played before, I lost all my items I had before (on the same world with the same account) and spawned at world spawn. This happened a few times before...

The way I am able to avoid this is by the person loading/hosting the game has to actually 'Quit' through the game menu and start it up again. That's The only way I'll have my items and previous location.
