Whenever I use an riptide trident, I will take damage in the middle of the air. I take absurd amounts of damage even with protection 4 and feather falling 4 armor.

This happened to me too, I was flying in the rain with an elytra equipped, I had full prot 4 and feather falling 4, And I died for no reason midflight. The game said i fell from a high place
