"cannon connect" to purchased worlds created local

There are several worlds that I have downloaded that failed to load, this is the first I purchased and paid minecoins for that failed. The error is Unable to connect to world. Check your internet connection and try again. I am not trying to join an online game, or anything to do with realms, I'm creating worlds locally, supposedly all resource packs are downloaded, to play single player local, yet I get a network related error which completely confounds my senses.

The affected paid product is Trains by Lifeboat.

Various free products are also affected (which up to this point I assumed were simply no longer supported but now unsure). I can't remember them at the top of my head but there was a NASA world and I think a Johnny Rockett title on that list.

Maybe, but I'm not convinced yet. MCPE-101291 plainly specifies "when multiplayer game option is enabled." Recreating the worlds with multi-player off has no effect, same error.
