If some blocks are in front of you when you open your inventory or open a chest the HUD will go through the blocks and you can't see the HUD. You have to be at least 3 blocks away from anything so that they don't block your HUD.

On psvr if you open your inventory when some blocks are in front of you your HUD will go through the blocks and you are unable to see your inventory. This also happens with chests
