When I logged into Minecraft. I smelting some iron with coal. When I placed the coal it smelted the iron but the coal fire in the furnace finished before a iron ingot was smelted. I was confused. Then I tried a lava bucket because I thought it was an update. I placed the lava and the fire animation in the furnace finished real quickly also. The lava was able to cook only one pork chop. It's supposed to cook 64 items but it barely cooked my pork chop. So then so realized it was bug. I lose my bucket and now I gotta waste 3 iron ingots. If anyone has had it then also report it cuz it’s smelting is broken. Can’t smelt iron with coal, wood, lava, or bamboo because it only cooks one item.

I just experienced this exact bug and i tried the same thing with the lava bucket, it used the lava which didnt smelt the singular item then used my bucket to finish only the one iron i was smelting. This is absolutely broken and needs to be fixed. -Thank you for your time
Removing version 1.16.210 as this only appears to be an issue in the beta currently - please let us know if this changes or if you have any further information.
Can reproduce on Android.
Wooden planks, slabs, fences, ladders and bamboo (the other ones I tested) seem to work at the regular speed.
