I'm trying to bring a Piglin into the Overworld but it disappears after 15 seconds and drops it's items

I'm trying to bring a piglin to the overworld but it keeps just disappearing into thin air. It doesn't become a zombie piglin like I want it too it just goes poof. I tried naming it, nothing. Tried giving it armor, the armor disappeared along with it once in the over world. I'm really upset right now. I would include a screenshot but how would that help you'd need a video and I wasted two hours getting 2 baby piglins to get into the portal since I had to keep trapping them.
