Minecraft Bedrock is very laggy

After the new update, my survival world became really laggy. When I move forward and stop pressing the 'W' key, I continue moving for a couple of blocks (it feels almost like moving on ice in some way). I can't jump in time because of that and I can't run at all. I'm moving slowly and then suddenly pushed into things.
