Minecraft PlaystationVR: Menu clipping

When playing minecraft on PS4 with VR, menus (pause menu, crafting, inventory, chests etc.) clip through blocks as if its a physical entity a distance away from you (rather than a menu overlaying the game). You can only see the menus if you open them in a wide open space (making it impossible to use them in any enclosed space such as caves, houses, dense forests, also makes chests unusable as the menu appears BEHIND the chest). Makes playing with VR nearly impossible. I've looked it up and it's been a documented issue for 3+ months, please  fix 😔 thank you
