Gravel/Sand don't fall when torch is placed fast enough

Note: MCPE-1211 is similar to this, but it shows that its resolved, and it seems like its different to this, but just letting you know.

Sometimes when I'm having to remove a column of gravel/sand with a torch, I hold the torch and break the bottom block and then quickly place the torch, but there's a possibility that the gravel stays up. Happens on XBOX and Windows 10.

Note 1: Could be related to MC-175574 (see comments)

Note 2: I am unable to provide a screenshot since Minecraft won't download for me. Hopefully this is reproduce

The basis of Working As Intended for this issue on Bedrock is that, because it is the same game (and Mojang wants as much parity as possible), anything that is fixed/working as intended/invalid on one edition can be resolved the same way on the other edition in most cases.

However since MC-175574 was resolved by a Moderator and not a Mojang staff, I think this can be left open until Mojang takes a look at whether it is indeed WAI. Additionally I can reproduce.

I'm a bit confused since MC-175574 was set as WAI by a Mod and not Mojang. I thought only Mojang could do that? I am still new though so I don't know everything

Is this still an issue in the latest version? If so, can you add it to the affected versions?

I’m not the OP, but I can reproduce this on my Switch running the latest version.

I think it's safe to close it as WAI.
