Hello,
I enclosed merchant in my base and went to the bed. The I leaved game (Save and Quit). When I logged back, merchant was gone. There are his animals tied to fence and I can do trade with fence as merchant is merged with fence somehow. I attached video of merhant'o'fence.

Oh, I never saw that kind of trader. I last played 1.7.9 JavaMC and just installed this on my Android

The wandering merchant drinks an invisibility potion at night. This can also be seen in the particles in the video.
