So I keep taming cats because I like cats, and I put them in a cage or fence or hole or something (yes they're 2 blocks high) and I even make them sit! But then when I walk away after a minute I turn around AND THEY'RE RIGHT BEHIND ME. How can I make them just STAY??? I don't have any cat pets now because I've had to get rid of all of them so they STOP FOLLOWING ME. This is the 3rd or 4th time this has been happening to me.

I was unable to reproduce this on Windows 10 PC. Please attach a video or a copy of a world where it occurs.

Until they officially fix this try leashing them unto a fence and see if it holds them and prevents them from teleporting to you.
