New signs have dark text while old signs retain brighter colors

When typing on signs text is now very dark and almost unreadable.  Previous signs are not effected and are what users expect.  In the image below:

• Both signs use the same wood type and text coloring.

• Text is formatted lime green and bold.

• The one one the right was created prior to the most recent update, the one on the left was created afterwards.

• This is effecting every new sign.  Old signs have not been effected.

• P_ersonal opinion - new text colors are hard to read/unreadable on most wood types_
   
  Possibly this is caused by the upcoming glow lettering?  Or change on how to dye text colors directly instead of via formatting?  Either way, it's strange that older signs and new ones aren't matching.
