Chemical compounds are invisible. While trying to use the compound creator, nothing will be seen in the output. If the recipe is right and you try to get the compound, you will get the right compound, but it will be invisible.
How to replicate it:
Create a creative-mode world on bedrock edition. Enable the "Education edition" option. Get a chemistry table, Chlorine and Sodium (or any elements that create a compound). Put a Chlorine and a Sodium on the chemistry table. Tap the output. On your inventory must appear a stack of nothing. If you tap the stack of nothing out of the chemistry table, it will say that it is Salt.
You must have exit and rejoined the world without saving for this to happen.
