The pictures are not visible. I can create and place them but they are invisible.

In all my world archives the paintings have become invisible. I can create, place and remove them but they are not visible. If I hit them, they break and the item can be seen.
I have not played Minecraft for several months, but the last time I played this problem was not occurring. I think it is due to the latest update.
