Game crashes when using /fill command

Everytime I try to use the /full command, it crashes my game. As soon as I type in the coordinates to where I wanna fill, my game crashes. I have this world where I want to replace my current buildings with air so I can delete them, but every time I try to do it, even if it is a small building, it doesn't work and kicks me out of Minecraft completely. Please try to fix it because I want to delete these buildings as fast as possible😞
