Can not join a realm on my Microsoft account

When trying to join a realm with one specific Microsoft account, i get stuck on the "building terrain" stage until I become inactive for too long. At that point it it kicks me out for being inactive. While on the realm someone can see that I am attempting to join. If they try to kick me it doesn't actually kick. Closing the app on phone or on PS4 that is the only way to quickly get out of that screen to do something else. This issue seems to be a Microsoft account problem because I can't join on PS4 or Mobile with only that one account. If I switch to a different account, it works normal. I have tried removing and rejoining the realm but it doesn't solve the issue.
