Hello, I have been having certain issues with Minecraft, on my Kindle Fire HD8 (8th Generation 2018).
Problem: No other apps can overlay over minecraft, E.G. Screen recorders, FPS counters, client apps such as toolbox or other applications.
So the first time that I experienced this problem was when I was considering starting a YouTube channel where I can upload Minecraft content for the community. However, I had issues regarding being able to record my Minecraft game-play. I have tried over 7 or 8 screen recording apps, however every time I open minecraft after starting recording my screen, the recording instantly stops. Which was really upsetting because I was really hoping on starting to record content for my YouTube channel because I had promised to my friends that I would do so.
The second time I experienced this issue was when I got an app to monitor my frame rates. Basically, the frame rate would show on the top right corner of my screen. However, every time I opened minecraft with the frame rate showing, the frame rate app would crash and the FPS in the top corner would disappear.
There have been other occasions where this has also been a problem too.
Anyways, I’m not sure if this is a problem with my device or your game, however if it is a problem with the game, may you fix the issue for the next update please? It would mean a lot and it would let other people who may be experiencing the same issue as I am be able to enjoy the game more.
Thanks again for reading,
(Also 1.17 looks amazing 😄 )

This is a Kindle limitation, not a Minecraft limitation. What's going on is this:
You are not allowed to display programs above hardware-intensive programs. Any program that falls under hardware-intensive will be above everything else.
Source: Amazon
I guess in this case, Minecraft is considered hardware-intensive (which yes it is), and thus is displaying on top of your other tools.
I am unable to reproduce on Android using Mobizen Screen Recorder. So it could be an Amazon Kindle/your device only issue.
