Currently on PS4 and PS5, shields take up the lower 1/4 of screen when walking/sprinting almost covering cross hair.., when crouched, shield takes up 1/3 of screen space and covers over player cross hairs. This makes building bridges, say in the Nether over lava, very difficult as you can not see exactly where you are aiming to place the block or to break a block in crouch.
Shield should only cover 1/16 of lower left screen in the corner giving better field of view, when crouched (shield raised) it should only cover 1/8 of screen towards middle of screen in order to keep optimum fov while giving protection.
