My son has been experiencing an inability to play minecraft on his switch recently. I am aware of the 2 gigabyte limit per profile on Switch, however I don't understand where this bloat is coming from.
Going through settings > data management for the switch, it reports the save file for his profile is right at 2.0 gigabytes. However, when I go into minecraft on his profile, there is less than 500 megabytes worth of stuff listed.
Why is the save file so big despite there being so little according to minecraft? I have heard others complain that the file seemingly bloats when minecraft crashes. In any case, this has been very frustrating for all of us.
