When I try to put a stack of 64 of any item in a dispenser, hopper or dropper by holding down my finger to add the item to the machine, it doesn't add the item. Shouldn't they work like chests?

To get this bug to work, first you have to open only a dispenser, dropper or a hopper. Then you hold down your finger over a 64 stack of any item. Then when the green bar fills up all the way it gets stuck and doesn't add the item. This bug makes filling up those 3 machines take a very long time. It.is very annoying.
