When you place an @ selector (@a, @p, @r, @e, @s) preceded by a section sign (§) in a scoreboard command, it doesn't go through; however, if you use the same format in a title command it does. Examples:
/scoreboard players add §2@a[tag=one] hi 10 [doesn't function.]
but, this does:
/title @a title §2@a[tag=one] §fwins! [command works, color and all.]
In Screenshot 3, the correct syntax doesn't work, but it can in Screenshot 4.

What are you intending to do with that scoreboard command? With the title, it makes sense to color the displayed name, but with the scoreboard, it seems meaningless
This would display Player One's name as green, instead of white. It was supposed to color-code the game, with scoreboard, updates, and win messages all the same color. Note: @a in the command block refers to only one person (I probably should've used @p)
What I was trying to do was make a scoreboard (with display sidebar) that has player's names colored in it:
Scoreboard Name
Player 0
if that helps
Oh, sadly you can't really do that on bedrock. If you want, you should request that bedrock finally add teams from java, which have that functionality
Is this still an issue in the latest version (1.17.11)? If so, can you please add it to the affected versions (or mention it if you are not the reporter).
