While trying to fly though a one block hole using an elytra and fireworks, I hit a wall and the went down into a nether portal. After going through the portal, it put me in the same coordinates as in the overworld and the portal created was invisible. It is similar to the bug where when you eat while going through a portal the same thing can happen.
