End Portal caused fall in the void.

I was entering the end portal in the stronghold because I wanted to acquire a new elytra, when suddenly I teleported in a location with no coordinates. I lost all my stuff and I am very upset right now, because I wasn't even able to realize I was falling due to the fact X; Y; Z coordinates were not showing on my screen. I thought it was a freezed screen, I thought it was loading, because sometimes it take a while to spawn me on the obsidian platform. But then I started losing life and it was too late to pull off rockets to reach for the main island when the message "fell to his death" appeared. Also, this was not the first time traveling to the end. I don't understand what happened.

I lost my most valuable items. Setting it to creative just removes the chance to gain those few Trophies I miss.  It's quite unbelievable. I hope to help some luckier future players. I am actually done with all these annoying bugs...
