When you wear and use soul speed boots on soul sand you can no longer take them off manually in your inventory, instead you have to switch them in your hotbar. You can take them on and off before you walk on soul sand but them moment you step on soul sand with the boots you can’t take them off. This happens with all of the boots pretty sure.
