i had been to the nether multiple times in the past, I wanted to get some gold to trade so I went through my portal. It stopped for a while before it took me to a place really far from my actual nether spawn and it put me in lava as well so it killed me and burnt my stuff, if u could fix this then that would be great! It also didn't spawn a nether portal where it took me so I couldn't get out!

This just happened to me last night. I found that if I logged off and then restarted the game the portal was there. However it took me to the overworld coordinates for where I was in the nether not the original portal I went through.
Fortunately, I had a nether hub so I built up to level 120 and headed for home. I know have a really, really long tunnel in the nether.
Any chance this was fixed in the update that dropped today?
