Massive FPS drops when holding or looking at high resolution textures

I have noticed since the ray-tracing update when minecraft used a new graphics engine RenderDragon whenever I held a 128x or 256x resolution item my fps would drop to 9 or so fps. However some do not experience this problem and I do not know a possible solution. I tried many things already like using vsync or not using it also using different graphical settings in the game. Note that my computer is not also the problem because im running a rtx2060 and ryzen 3 3100. I have some friends who dont have this problem and they have lower specs than mine. I hope the developers may find a solution because I cant enjoy a majority of my packs anymore due to this issue. This has also discouraged me from creating my own texture packs because it restricts me from using certain resolutions etc.
