This bug is saying that the player no longer owns the pets, because the upgrade to 0.14 has changed ownership status.

@unknown Does the sit/stand button come back when you're near your wolves when you have an item in your hand?

I'm still on the Realms version so I can't check.

You'll need to uninstall and install minecraft again so you can get 0.14.3. That's what I've had to do. They may have fixed some bugs recently.
