After updating Minecraft on my Switch to the new 1.17 update, featured servers no longer work. I've tried deleting the software data, signing out, using Google's DNS and my ISP's DNS, and deleting all my save data. The issue remains.
Featured servers do not connect at all; the player count doesn't even load, and connecting throws the classic error "Unable to connect to world."
I've attached screenshots showing how Realms load successfully, but featured servers do not.
Edit: After some additional testing, the issue only occurs on initial game load. Joining a single player or multiplayer world/realm and returning to the main menu causes Featured Servers to begin working.

I don't have a cellular device, but I've tried 2 different wireless access points at different houses.
However, I've noticed that if you join a world first and then exit back to the main menu, the featured servers begin working, so the issue seems to only occur on initial game load.

Could you try joining the world via mobile hotspot and not via your WiFi? Few friends have had the exact same problem while connected to WIFI but works fine via Hotspot?
