Hello again, my dear Minecraft helpers!
First of all, I'm really happy/excited about your 1.17 update. So many cool stuff! And I'm really looking forward to the holiday update aswell.
But, my luck with this update didnt go as planned and I was wondering if You could help me out a bit.
The thing is, that on the current world I'm playing, there are certain things that did or didnt come with the update.
So I got glow squids, axolotl, glow berries, goats, different form of iron and gold, BUT I didnt get COPPER and amethyst.
I was really looking forward to it, but unfortunately, after restarting it many times and hoping that the progress bar would give some great news, nothing.
There are couple of big worlds that I'm not playing right now, and I tried to delete them, but no luck. Just to see if somethings jammed the update, so it's concentrated on the worlds that I'm not using anymore.
But the curious thing is that when I created a new world, just to see if this problem persists there, everything is working fine there, and there plenty of copper and other stuff there, so it seems that upon a new world generation, there is no problem with new ores.
I was really looking forward to build stuff with copper and amethyst, so I would really like for you to check it out if theres not much trouble.
You guys are probably swamped with requests like this one right now.

Thanks Omer. I'v flown to an uncharted part of the world and there they were. Didnt find any geodes, but thats about to happen today. So, all the new ores, tuff and stuff, nice. I found glow berries in mineshaft chests. Thanks again for your help.
Hi, I am facing the same problem here but may I know does it mean that the explored chunks will not have those updated materials (copper and etc.)? Or after I went to a unexplored chunk then all the chunks in the world will be renewed? This is because I already have quiet a large explored area...
If you created the world before the update, you must go to an unloaded chunk to find any copper ores and amethyst geodes. This may be easier if you have maps that show you where you have been in the world but if you don't, simply go really far away and make sure you have never seen that place. I'm not sure though how you managed to find glow berries.
