I play minecraft with my friend daily and I saw that the chunks in my world were corrupt and I and my friend saw mines and it took away the experience of the game.

Please explain what you mean by "corrupt". Attaching a screenshot showing the corrupted chunk would also be helpful.

Any images or video recordings of this issue? Also could you please describe the issue better? Was the chunks gone as in there was no blocks and you could see the void? Did old chunks become new?
