When you equip the shield it doesn't appear in the right place. It goes vertical and horizontal. And it looks weird when you walk/sprint. This only happens when playing multiplayer. When I look at my character it looks normal to me, but the other player can see that my shield isn't in the right place. The shield still blocks hits and does everything it's meant to do, it's just how it looks. I hope you can fix it thanks!
