Can't unlock achievments when connected to local network world because my microsoft account won't show up on local, only on online.

How I thought it worked is that it kept track of the achievments you earned in local, and then added them when you connected back to the internet and your microsoft account. If this isn't a bug, sorry, but its really bad game design in that case, no offense.
It isn't a bad game design because when you active local play it disconnects you from the internet which disconnects you from Microsoft services that keep track of your achievements. Without connection to the Microsoft services you cannot earn achievements.
Is this still an issue in the latest version (1.17.11)? If so, can you please add it to the affected versions (or mention it if you are not the reporter).

Still affects 1.18.10. I have a microsoft account, but the friend i play my world with doesn't. I know he can't get achievements because of that, but I should still get them on my account.

Uhh, not to be rude but this is very stupid. Local play disconnects you from microsoft as microsoft does require internet connection and when you enable local play on switch it disconnects you from the internet. The only way to get achievements is connected to microsoft because that's where they are.
