When I entered my Nether portal, I randomly teleported a few hundred blocks away from where my Nether house was. There was also a lot of ghost blocks when I exited the portal that I can suffocate in. When I re-lighted the portal, I traveled 3,000 blocks away. That is not normal, even though when you travel in the Nether you travel 8 in the overworld. I wasn't doing anything special (like eating or blocking. There was a glitch where you can teleport to the wrong place by eating and entering the portal.
I was on LAN + splitscreen, if that helps. Nobody else was in the Nether, just me entering it. There was no other portals ever created.
