[MCPE-133442] Not being able to reach outer end islands using enderpearls through end portal teleporter

I am not able to reach the outer end islands in survival bedrock Minecraft. I have tried throwing an ender pearl through the end portal (not the one at the centre of the end dimension but the one that is created when you defeat the ender dragon) but i keep ending up teleporting to areas around the portal itself

this is most likely lag 100% lag.
