They keep disappearing everytime I try to pick them up. Please fix. I keep having to make a new one.

I was relocating a couple of Mooshroom the other day and was using boats to transport them. When I got out of the boat to sleep the boat vanished but because the mooshroom was in it it began to glitch and teleport all over the ocean surface. I swung my ax trying to break the boat and apparently I hit the mooshroom in mid port and unfortunately it died. Because I was leading the other one it didn't glitch and I was able to get it home. I've also noticed this teleporting glitch when messing around with snow golems. I was getting a little target practice with snowballs and accidently popped a snow golem into the ocean. It began to teleport and glitch just like the boat with the mooshroom.
If you walk far enough away to unload the chunk it will come back or if you log off then on again it will come back. Very annoying but at least they come back unlike villagers and animals.

I’m not sure if this is the same issue, but on my Switch, my boats and empty minecarts disappear after breaking and take a long time to show up.
I just had a boat (again) disappear after breaking it and after spending a minute swimming around and on land looking for it, I gave up and went inside my nearby house to unload some inventory. When I went back outside, I saw it floating on the water.
I have not observed this issue with any other broken blocks or thrown objects - just boats and empty minecarts.
