I was relocating a couple of Mooshroom the other day and was using boats to transport them. When I got out of the boat to sleep the boat vanished but because the mooshroom was in it it began to glitch and teleport all over the ocean surface. I swung my ax trying to break the boat and apparently I hit the mooshroom in mid port and unfortunately it died. Because I was leading the other one it didn't glitch and I was able to get it home. I've also noticed this teleporting glitch when messing around with snow golems. I was getting a little target practice with snowballs and accidently popped a snow golem into the ocean. It began to teleport and glitch just like the boat with the mooshroom.
No, some were from chests and others were from hunting squid.
I had a similar experience with this glitch but it corrupted individual blocks. I didn't know what was going on.
