Sometimes abandoned portal will only generate an obsidian stone pillars

The screenshot does not how "only an obsidian stone pillar". It shows an obsidian pillar with a stone brick slab on top and netherrack and magma spread across the ground. That's normal variation for a ruined pillar generation, not bug. It's supposed to look ruined, not just abandoned.
