This morning I was going to the end island to collect some shulker boxes and when I went through the portal I glitched out and fell into the void, and lost all my netherite tools and gear, golden apples etc. I just turned off my PS4 and T.V in frustration took a break to cool down I don't know if this is a bug on all platforms or just a common glitch, cause now I have to get all my good gear again by going into the nether, I already have a spare netherite sword but it does not have any enchants on it, I don't know if this is a glitch on all platforms but it just happened to me today.

Yes, when I entered the end portal from the overworld I just went in and my game glitched out, another thing happened whenever I go through my nether portal I spawn in a different location, in previous updates like 1.16+, my nether portal was perfectly fine whenever I went through it, but now when I go through it in 1.17.2 I spawn in a different location in the nether. my base spawn portal is 30, 72, 29 and when I go through it, I spawn in a random location, and my home base spawn location is 260, ?, 160 in 1.17.2. I don't know if this glitch is gonna happen again when I play today but I hope it does not cause I just got all my netherite gear back yesterday.
Dude, the exactly same thing happened to me this evening. I was going to respawn the ender dragon, and when I entered the portal, the usual obsidian spawn just wasn’t there, resulting in a direct fall into the void. Just lost all my main stuff and 53 xp levels. By the way, the exactly same thing also happened with me with nether portals, they just create new ones out of nowhere, it’s so annoying. My only reasons to keep playing in this world are my parrots and my cats tbf. I wish we can get our things back fr
After I fell through the void I had a split second of using my elytra to fly away but I was too late I got SO MAD.
