Farmer villager does not accept automatically harvested pumpkins

I got some pumpkins from my automatic pumpkin farm to trade them with the villager. For some reason, the villager trading display showed that the villager did not want the pumpkins, even though there are on the trade list. I'm not sure if this is a bug or a glitch. Sorry to waste your time if this has already been reported. Still though, please fix this as it is very annoying having to farm pumpkins without my automatic pumpkin machine.
