Iām testing the new cave and cliff experimental gameplay and it looks like caves doesn't reach surface and the stop 1/2 block before. Even if you found cave in suface (you can find them only in river or mountains) the go down just for 10 blocks than to reach the new caves you have to break 1 or 2 block and then you can reach the system
