In the 1.17.10 Caves and Cliffs Experiment, I found a mountain biome, where at moderate height, there were random patches of snow. These patches would be considered a different biome and make the trees over the edge have multiple leaf colors.

Sure, I had deleted the world already so I loaded up a new world (seed -863107689) and found the leaf bug right by spawn (-20 y -100).
