Every time I or my kid log into minecraft it does nothing but freeze. Me thinking it's my internet I went and got a new router and wifi box from my internet company. That did not fix my issue. Now I can't play the game without it lagging at least every 5 minutes for like 30 minutes at a time

Survival and creative. It often crashes as well and makes me close out the software and reopen. It randomly boots me from my kids world or me from hers. I bought brand new equipment thinking it was my internet. But it is still doing it.
If the game is freezing it shouldn't be the Wifi
I found a video on how to fix it, but I believe it involves deleting all your worlds in the process but I don't think you want to do that.
I actually already did that...qnd it fixed the issue...I was extremely pissed that I had to do that to fix it
