Textures either turn pink or everyone becomes steve on The Hive server

Every time I try to play on the hive server, after being in the lobby for around 5 minutes textures start to turn neon pink, the only thing that fixes this issue is to restart Minecraft, and when I play on games it will start to happen after only a few minutes, all of the modified textures (for example the coffee mugs in the office level on murder mystery) and anything that isn't part of Minecraft's normal textures turn neon pink and everyone looks like a steve, which is infuriating when playing murder mystery because you can't tell who anyone is and it makes the game unplayable, it happened in 1.16 and I thought it would be patched in 1.17 but it still isn't.
(I don't have screenshots right now because I'm on the computer but I might have some later)
