I was exploring the map with my horse when when crossing a river the horse disappeared, when touching the water it disappeared I lost my mount and my iron horse armor, I hope and fix this 😞

For clarification: When did you notice your horse was gone, and did you get a message telling you it died or did it just vanish?
I ask because if you try to ford(cross while riding) a deep river or lake you will always fall off your horse and the horse will flail around in the water trying to get on land. If it's weak it may drown.
One way to avoid this problem is to use a boat to transport the horse over water (especially if it has armour!).
I'll try duplicating the "disappearing horse" and post my findings tomorrow.
