On Android, when I throw items individually, (a stack of them, since now touch input does not have a button to throw a stack of items one-by-one.), piglins dont give out an item after taking the gold. Ill provide a video to demonstrate that. This has been happening since 1.16.x

Piglin barter on Android works like this:
If you just toss a stack of gold at them they'll help themselves and give you nothing. What you should do is approach the piglins while holding gold bars(so that they don't attack you).
When you're close enough to one while holding gold ingots, a "barter" key will appear above the EXP bar (similar in appearance to the "tame" and "leash" key for dogs and cats, the "ride" and "mount" key for horses, etc.).
Whenever you press this you lose one gold bar and get a RNG-determined item in exchange.
I'm not sure if they have a cooling-off period (a lot usually cluster around, so I've never had problems)
Keep one gold bar so that you can get away without being attacked if you haven't trapped the piglins in pits.
Thanks. Almost thought I would never get items just by throwing them a stack of Gold on phone devices. unlike Java where you can throw a gold piece one at a time to get an item, which the mobile version cant do with just touchscreen controls.
Ill try it again and see what happens. Ill keep an eye on the cooldown period of them.
Can't reproduce the bug here. I threw a stack of gold ingots to a piglin and they picked them up 1 by 1 and threw me the barter item after inspecting it.
